Dark Thistle Armchair

In an inspired interpretation, the warmly inviting Dark Thistle Armchair, captures the essence of the classic MacKenzie-Childs thistle, in a woven wool seat cushion and frame with hand-carved thistle accents. The hardwood frame is decorated in Aurora with faux tortoiseshell, gold accents, and Courtly Check(R) detailing. The woven thistle fabric cushion is juxtaposed with our pure wool MacKenzie Tartan plaid (made especially for us in the highlands of Scotland) in the cushion boxing and inset seat back, and trimmed with black and white cording. Designed to harmonize with the simple organic beauty of our Dark Thistle Table, the armchair is also a dramatic standout on its own.
