Light Thistle Armchair

In an inspired interpretation, the elegant Light Thistle Armchair, captures the essence of the classic MacKenzie-Childs thistle, in a woven wool seat cushion and hand carved frame with thistles above the legs. The hardwood frame is decorated in Aurora with faux marbling, tortoiseshell, gold accents, and Courtly Check(R) detailing. The woven thistle fabric cushion is juxtaposed with our pure wool MacKenzie Tartan plaid in the cushion boxing and inset seat back (made especially for us in the highlands of Scotland), and trimmed with black and white cording. Designed to harmonize with the simple organic beauty of our Light Thistle Table, the armchair is also a dramatic standout on its own.
