Courtly Check Bucket Bag

A far cry from the utilitarian carryalls of yesteryear, this smart, hand-woven purse is elegant enough for a night on the town yet so in-tune with its inspiration it practically begs for an afternoon at the farmer's market. Bedecked with black grosgrain ruff around a Courtly Check® ceramic knob (yes a knob!), with harlequin ribbons, and a MacKenzie-Childs brass logo plate, the sophisticated accents elevate a simple silhouette to a higher form of rustic-chic wearable art. Lined with drawstring closure.  Using a uniquely Balinese art form that has been handed down through the generations, the  bags are woven by  Master weavers, using Ata grass, a vine indigenous to the foothills of volcanoes on the Indonesian Island of Bali.
